Set against a backdrop of an evergreen forest surrounded by surging hills is a traditional hotel named simply as the wooden hotel. The design completed by Outsource plan architecture design studio aims to remind a traditional architectural quality that blurs the distinction between the external and internal spaces.

It’s a three-floor hotel in South Africa, the programs include a reception area and restaurant in the ground level, while twelve hotel rooms are based upstairs in the first and second floors (six rooms in each level) and also a seating area for each level.

The residence explores the use of timber as the dominant material for the house to blend with the surrounding forest. The materials’ white color completes simplicity in the design. The rooms are small but cozy and warm. Each space faces towards the expansive glass opening, inviting the vivid colors, natural light, and a glimpse of the natural surroundings.

It's a growing trend in luxury hotels, imagine how you would feel about spending a romantic weekend in a hotel room where the bath and the shower are on display. And you can see the beautiful surroundings of your room through large windows while you are taking a shower.

The addition of an in-room kitchenette is among the main advantages offered by luxury hotels. It enables the guests to cook their meals which allows homemade food in a new city which can be a massive saving for the users.

Stone flooring is easy to keep clean for the hotel and simultaneously creates the sense of luxury for the guests. As you can see in the architectural rendering outcomes, lighting plays an important role in the interior space of this hotel; most lights are designed to use LED lightings.

Cost savings is the main reason to choose LED lighting. Because of LED bulbs last so much longer, properties buy and change fewer bulbs overalls. Although the LED bulb initially costs more, the hotel can quickly recover the return on investment compared to incandescent and fluorescent bulbs.

As a tool or skill, sketching has its special role in our design process. That role will differ depending on the end-product being created, the size and scope of the project, experience, the individual designer's style, and workflow, and the client's expectations.

Sketching is a brilliant way to explore many concepts quickly. You can sketch for short hours and work out numerous possible solutions to the design problem at hand to share with your clients.
Sketches are a rapid way to generate the basic arrangement of your final illustration as you see above.
