This high-rise residential complex project was allotted to us as a conceptual scheme, and we were asked to develop it to the next level, preliminary providing architectural program, zoning review, and interior concept development, and eventually architectural design development with designing floor plans, 3D messing and model of the exterior.

After approving the architecture program with our client, our design team started creating 3D spaces and plans simultaneously in a to, and fro process and this well-known comprehensive process in architectural design was carried out not only as an abstract, intellectual and artistic procedure but also a deliberate visual program, and this was achieved with exploiting Revit BIM software.

Our architectural team is expert in designing, architectural detailing and modeling with Revit, the latest innovation in BIM, which is taking an already impressive design programming to the next level with a new range of features and capabilities.

In Revit, 3D design views, 3Dmodel, views and elevations, and unlimited sections and layouts, offer designers the opportunity to explore different angles rapidly, and the high-quality documents let them spot and correct problems early in the design process. This is equal to vast savings on time and money.

Every change in Revit is coordinated across the entire project, so a change in one view is a simultaneous alteration in all views. This is possibly Revit’s most prominent difference from previous programs: elevations, section views, and schedules are live views of the single Building Model and need no refreshing or updates when the model changes.

So, for this design project, designing with Revit was convenient in many ways, including an effective discussion with our client observing the clear views of the project during different design development phase stages, where they could apply their opinions and observe the results instantly, and designers could assure them of their design reasoning more securely.

This photo is a simple linear presentation of the exterior, a model that was created directly from forming the plans, elevations, sections, and layouts, and as was explained above, any changes in any of these views, happened in other views at once, and especially by showing the 3D view to the clients, our design team could explain the design more easily and clear. The final result is two 10-story residential buildings on top of a commercial, open-plan area in two stories.

The angle between the two residential buildings is fixed in a way that provides the most natural light and the best view to the outside for every apartment. There are six apartments on each floor, and each apartment has two master-bedrooms with balconies.

The vertical connection of the floors and the ground is placed at the core of the two residential buildings, with two escape stairs and two elevators. The detailed plans, sections, and elevations plus explicit 3D view make it effortless to read and comprehend the whole design project.
