“Façade” is a French word and it exactly means “face,” and a home facade is truly the front part of a home and its face. While structural strength, space consumption, power saving, etc. are some sides that lead to designing a useful building, the facade is what gives the first impression to the users, and this is what gives the unique character to a building.
According to these explanations, our clients in this project asked us to create a modern and new look for their old building by designing a unique façade for it.
We designed an attractive and extraordinary façade with a parametric approach for this building because we should save the old façade. We designed a separate structural framing for the façade to install it in front of the old façade and attached it in some limited points to the existing building metal structure just to avoid buckling in structure.
Architectural drawing and detail design are provided for the entire façade from the concrete foundation to wooden window frames. The isometric and exploded views are added to documentation to improve the understanding of the project for the constructor.
This façade contains numerous unique designs and thanks to computer-aided design programs our architectural detailing team designed a unique way to sort them and create a way to construct and install these parts.
