Our client for this project wanted to renovate his house and combine the old bedroom of the house with the storage to create a larger area for his bedroom and art atelier.
We started the design process from understanding the client’s vital needs and desires, and it resulted in designing spaces that are simultaneously connected and separated as the architectural answer to these needs. Stairs and vaults between the bedroom and art atelier show that each of these spaces has their independent characteristics, but materials and design style connects these spaces.
The part with large windows and the sunny atmosphere is dedicated to art atelier, and the bedroom is located on the darker side of the space. Bedroom can also benefit from sunlight through the vaults and the open atmosphere of the space.
The atelier itself contains two different areas, a working zone, and one sitting area. The sitting area with its beautiful grey color furniture provides a great place for relaxing, reading some books, or meeting friends.
The natural wood flooring is used for both bedroom and atelier, natural Wood floors not only enhance the elegant style of the space, but they also provide a warm atmosphere. Many of our clients choose natural wood flooring because they believe that it will add value to their property.
It’s perfect for creating a good first impression for your many guests and visitors, which is common in an art atelier. Natural wood floors are extremely easy to keep clean, and this feature makes them perfect for an atelier, where the floor will normally get dirty.
