Our client in this project asked us to select and design the furniture, cabinets, curtains, and colors of his apartment in a modern yet comfortable way. It is a challenge to choose an impeccable design for your living room. This area needs to be comfy not only for inhabitants of the house but for their guests as well.
A living room is a place for evening meetings, where people like to talk about all day events, to watch their favorite movies or to relax. Colors can’t be randomly used when we talk about perfect interior design.
At first glance, you may think that it’s easy to choose colors for a living room because we choose what we like and it will work perfectly. In many cases the results are good, but in most of the circumstances, if you don’t know correctly about colors and what mixtures would look great for your home style, the results might have nothing in common with a proper appearance.
Our designers usually use neutral colors at the decoration of the living room with a cozy atmosphere. This color is the best and the most effective way to create attractively but not provoking interior space. Beige is famous and great for its relaxing and calm effect, and that’s the main reason to choose this color for the project to answer our clients need.
The high gloss cabinet look is undoubtedly one of the most favored finishes among our clients, but in our opinion combining contrasting materials is an even more enhanced way to get that wow-factor finish. It’s a great idea to mix things up a bit by combining the polished and smooth look of high gloss cabinets with more natural materials such as wood.
While high gloss cabinets look modern and great, the texture is an important element too, giving the apartment less clinical look. The color of wood in this kitchen also adds warmness – something vital to producing that homely, friendly feel. Wood looks great in all situations whether you’ve got a new-build apartment like our project, or Victorian home.
With so many floors covering materials available nowadays, it can be hard to choose what to put on your floor. While every floor covering product can be shown to have its benefits and disadvantages, we chose a rug for seating area of this apartment with its several obvious benefits when compared to hard surfaces.
From luxurious to casual and cozy, the rug can give a space a completely different and stylish atmosphere. The floor color has a big impact on choosing the right furniture color. Because the apartment already had bright stone flooring, our designers chose a cream color for furniture to blend well with the Beige wall colors and the flooring stone.
